چکیده:
۵( اء الأسواق التجارية في الحجاز حتى نهاية الدولة الأموية تشكل الأسواق في حياة الناس قدىما عاملا أساسيا لقضاء لوازمهم واحتياجاتهم وتلبية متطلبات حياتهم› وقد عرف العرب الأسواق منذ القدم ولم تقتصر على وظيفتها الأصلية التي مهمتها الإنسان وتعايش معهاء وهي عملية البيع والشراء بل تعدتها إلى وظائف أخرى لا علاقة لہا بوظيفة السوق منها الدعوة إلى الإسلام والمفاخرة والتباهي والمسابقات الشعرية وغيرهاء وأصبح لہا أهمية اقتصادية ودينية وسياسية واجتماعية وأدييةء حیث كان للأسواق في بلاد الحجاز أهمية كبيرة في نشر الدعوة الإسلامية من خلال الجولات الدعوية التي بدئها الرسولء كما انها مكانا لإقامة الشعائر الإسلامية باعتبارها مكان تجمع يشاهد الناس ذلك ونتيجة الفتوحات وتوسع التجارة وكثرة الوافدين إلى مكة للحج فتوافرت السيولة التقدية وانتشرت العادات الاستهلاكية في المأكل والملبس والزينة.
