Since the government Naqara Khana was the focal point of the country's official musical activity, especially during the Safavid era - from Shah Abbas I to the beginning of the reign of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar - it is necessary to know about the life of Naqara Khana music and the position of this music in government and society. In addition, it is necessary to know about the duties of a person in Naqara Khana and the main instruments of this type of music. The question is that what was the role of Naqara Khana music as the only official music organization of the country in protecting and prolonging the scientific foundation of Iran’s national music and its instruments in that era? Given the prohibitions of the Shiite religion on the art of music and given the musical policy of the kings during the Safavid and Qajar eras.
