چکیده:
Covid 19 was found in China in 2019 and then became a pandemic around the world. Clinical signs of coronary heart disease, including cough, sore throat, fatigue, and shortness of breath, have been reported. The disease also has a variety of complications. One of the most common complications in Covid-19 patients is neurological complications, which include encephalopathy, delirium, Guillain-Barré syndrome, hyposmia, and encephalitis. According to studies, Covid-19 can cause thromboembolism, which causes Acute Ischemic Stroke, which is one of the most severe types of these neurological complications. Acute Ischemic Stroke is a life-threatening disease that puts a heavy burden on the country's health care system. In addition, some studies report a higher prevalence of stroke in Iran compared to the global average. Also, the Covid-19 pandemic, which is about 18 months old, has caused a large number of people to be infected with the SARS-COV-2 virus in Iran. This study was based on a review of previous evidence and similar studies in the field of registry of Acute stroke caused by Covid 19. Therefore, a literature review of studies, by searching for related keywords in three categories of words related to Covid 19, registry and acute stroke in the title, abstract and keywords of studies in the valid scientific databases Embase, Web of Science, Scopus and PubMed on November 24, 2021. The results of the literature review showed that the stroke registry were created in the United States, Germany, and Spain, and other registries were multinational in that data were collected from different countries. Due to the high prevalence of COVID-19 and the higher incidence of neurological symptoms shown in studies, it is necessary to establish a registration system to accurately determine the incidence, prevalence, burden of the disease and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions. However, no registry was found among patients with acute stroke with Covid 19 in Iran. Therefore, it is suggested that future studies design and set up a register of patients with acute stroke with Covid 19. By recording the data of these patients, the ground for preventing the complications of stroke and recurrence of the disease in patients with Covid 19 and thus improving the general health of the country is provided.
