Developing an Instructional Program Based on Activities Related to Time,
Change, and Continuity Strands and Testing its Effects on Historical Evens
Interpretation and Time Conscious in Primary History 10“ Grade Students.
Doctoral Dissertation, Yarmouk University, 2009.
The available sample consisted of 157-students in the primary 10 grade in
public schools in the Northwestern Badia province during the first semester of the
academic year 2008/2009 assigned to two schools. Students were randomly
assigned: to classrooms.
Findings from the present study: revealed that:
- Statistically significant differences at (a=0.05) in enhancement of time
conscious in history subject among primary 10™ grade students in favor of
the experimental group students. The researcher explained this result by
the effectiveness of the proposed time-change, continuity theme-based
instructional program with the participants.
- There was statistically significant interaction at (a<0.05) in time conscious
attributed to such variables as group and social kind, whereas no statistical
significant differences attributed to the gender.
Statistically significant differences at (u<0.05) in developing the ability of .
